Mark Your Calendars: Experience the Magic of Lanesboro on Saturday, November 29th!

Get ready to experience the small-town charm and festive magic in Lanesboro's beautiful bluff country this holiday season. Join us on Saturday, November 29, 2025, for a full day of sipping, shopping, and family-friendly holiday festivities as we proudly support Small Business Saturday at our local, family-owned shops and businesses.

Throughout the day, explore a variety of special events and activities for all ages:

Shopping & Dining Specials: Retail shops and dining establishments across town will feature various discounts, sales, seasonal treats, and festive specials.
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides: Enjoy free horse-drawn wagon rides and pony rides to get you in the holiday spirit.
Holiday Bazaar: Browse unique artisan goods and crafts at the Holiday Craft & Vendor Bazaar at the Lanesboro Community Center.
Family Fun: Participate in an ornament hunt for children with prizes donated by generous Lanesboro businesses. Crafts and activities will be available for all ages!

As the sun sets, the magic continues with the annual Holiday Parade and the grand opening of the Legion Lights display:

5:30 p.m. - Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting: The parade starts downtown near Sylvan Brewing and features a special appearance by Santa Claus! It begins with the official lighting of Lanesboro's Christmas Tree and winds its way to Sylvan Park, guiding everyone to the Legion Lights Display.
5:30 p.m. - Santa in the Park: Visit Santa Claus himself in the cozy log cabin in Sylvan Park from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
5:30 p.m. - Warming Stations & Treats: Gather around warming bonfires in Sylvan Park. S’mores, hot cider, and hot chocolate will be available to keep you warm while music fills the air, creating a truly festive vibe you won’t want to miss.
The Lanesboro Legion Lights Display: The kick-off event on November 29th marks the beginning of the beautiful Sylvan Park light display, which runs every evening through January 1, 2026.
