Fibers from the Forest and Farm Artist Reception

Celebrate Fibers from the Forest and Farm with a free, friendly community gathering. Enjoy the magic of mycological art at the Driftless Fiber Arts Collective! From 5-7 pm on October 10th, Driftless Fiber Arts Collective invites you to enjoy the creative collection of artwork by Stena Lieb, which is on view at the DFAC this fall.

Stena Lieb presents "Fibers from the Forest and Farm", an exhibit exploring paper-making, collage, and weaving with materials found, foraged, and grown by Stena. A K-12 multimedia arts instructor at Lanesboro School, Stena is a member of the Minnesota Mycologogical Society, collects avidly and boldly uses mushroom fibers in the work.

Stena Lieb is a 2024 recipient of an individual artist grant from the South Eastern Minnesota Arts Board.
