Calling all quilters! Driftless Fiber Arts Collective is hosting a delightful quilt class with master quilter Cheryl Lamon from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 7th.
This class will be using a layer cake from Retro Vibes - Canyon collection from Northcott Fabrics. The quilt is made from only 2 different squares. One is an uncut 10” square and the other one is pieced. They are then alternated when sewing the quilt together. This class is suitable for beginners or advanced quilters.
The cost for this class is $110. This can be cash or check. Class registration cost includes all materials needed to make a 40 x 50 inch quilt top. Participants will be using only 25 squares from the layer cake package, so they have the option to make a larger quilt. Cheryl’s example quilt uses 40 squares and two added borders and measures 87 x 87 inches.
