Join Lanesboro Arts in celebrating the Opening Reception for “The Shape of What Remains,” an exhibition of contemporary sculpture by Zachary Leonard from 5 – 7 pm on Saturday, February 7th. Enjoy live music and refreshments, hear from the artist, and get a first look at this intriguing collection of abstract sculpture created from unconventional materials.
“The Shape of What Remains” will run from February 7th through March 28th, 2026.
Zachary Leonard is a Minneapolis-based artist, working mainly with repurposed materials and items many people would consider to be trash. “Many would view dejected objects as trash or disposable, but I find myself collecting these common materials,” Leonard says. By scavenging and using these discarded materials which many people would consider worthless, Leonard creates sculptures, installations, and drawings which convey his message.
