Upcycle Your Clothes with Rae Rowell

Do you have an item in your closet that you don't wear but don't want to discard? How about upcycling it! Use your creativity to transform old clothes into new pieces, reducing waste and creating a unique style. this could be as simple as lowering or raising a hem, taking in our releasing a seam, repairing a tear, adding a dart or tuck, or adding new details to enhance the fabric. 

Join Rae Rowell at the Driftless Fiber Arts Collective at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 10th to learn how to refresh your wardrobe with several upcycling techniques.

This workshop is offered for free, with donations to the collective welcome. Rae will provide all materials to create, including sewing machines, iron and ironing boards, basic sewing notions, bindings, zippers, and interfacing for repairing tears. Participants should bring an item of clothing that they don't wear, but want to! You may also bring buttons, ribbon, thread, or anything else that you would like to use in your upcycling.
