Violet Project Community Exhibtition Informational Meeting

Driftless Fiber Arts Collective invites you to take part in The Violet Project, a community art project and exhibition of artwork which celebrates unity. Join us for an informational meeting about this opportunity at the collective (108 Coffee Street East) at 6 pm on Thursday, March 27th.

The Violet Project encourages creative community members to make artwork that combines red and blue, literally and symbolically to create the effect of violet as a symbol of unity. This work will be celebrated in an exhibition open to the public on Friday, June 20th, the Summer Solstice. Join the Driftless Fiber Arts Collective for an all night celebration of creativity.

Violet Project submissions are allowed in various media (though fiver art is encouraged). All work must arrive at the Driftless Fiber Arts Collective able to be hung and no later than Sunday, June 15th. Eligibility of an art piece will be determined at the discretion of DFAC jurors. Work must responsibly and visibly engage the formal blending of color and the spirit of unity.
