Lanesboro Arts Gallery Associate

Lanesboro Arts is looking for a part-time Gallery Associate to work flexible hours throughout the year. The person who fills this position will gain excellent gallery experience with opportunity for growth. The Gallery Associate will work closely with the Gallery Manager and other members of the Lanesboro Arts team to provide friendly service to visitors and artists.

The Lanesboro Arts Juried Sales and Exhibition galleries are open year-round. Lanesboro Arts is a multidisciplinary arts organization with a passion for engaging community through art. The Lanesboro Arts Galleries present accessible and diverse works that foster enriching, educational opportunities for artists and the community, by initiating discussion and connection.

The main responsibilities of this position while working in the gallery building at 103 Parkway Avenue North are:

  • Provide excellent customer service resulting in art sales
  • Keep the gallery clean and display work appropriately
  • Assist with installation of all artwork, exhibits and receptions
  • Strengthen and grow relationships and communication with Juried Sales and Exhibition Gallery artists
  • Sell Tickets for Lanesboro Arts events and serve as an informational resource for Lanesboro Arts to the general public
  • Manage inventory, data entry, and sales through point of sales system
  • Handle cash, credit, or check transactions
  • Must be able to work at least one Saturday per month.
