Barista - Weekends

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time weekend Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages & food. This is an entry-level position, willing to train, but must have consistent every other Saturday/Sunday weekend availability.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, smoothies, tea, & more

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and front of house

- Handle cash transactions and operate the Toast POS system

- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies

- Assist with food preparation

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns

Skills:

- Ability to focus and follow instructions

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change

- Experience in the food service or food industry preferred, not required

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours

- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus, not required

- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
