Hidden Springs Peony Farm

About Us

We invite you to explore the fields at our family-owned farm in the Driftlless Area where we grow more than 600 varieties of peonies, including the popular yellow, coral and fern leaf varieties.

Potted peonies are available for sale on the farm in spring and early summer. Bare root peonies are available to purchase online and can either be shipped or picked up from the farm in fall.

The on-site garden center and gift shop also features unusual annuals, perennials, tropicals, indoor plants, spring bulbs, fruit, trees and shrubs.

The farm opens for the season the first weekend in May, weather dependent. Peak bloom runs from Memorial Day through Father's Day. You are welcome to shop year-round online! Ordering from the 2025 bare root peony catalog is available January 1 through Labor Day.

We also offer opportunities for special events, workshops, farm tours, picnics, photography, and seasonal activities. There is no entrance fee or tickets required to visit the farm and explore the peony fields. Specials events like Picnic at the Peony Farm do require an advance ticket.
