Sylvan Park (est 1881) with two trout stocked ponds, modern playground equipment, shelters, campground, and the beautiful bluff setting, is a center of Lanesboro Signature Events such as Buffalo Bill Days, Art in the Park, Rhubarb Festival and more!
Sylvan Park (est 1881) is one of the finest city parks in Minnesota. Its spring-fed trout ponds, picnic shelters, electricity, bathrooms, playground, tennis, basketball and sand volleyball courts, ensure comfortable camping and picnicking for the whole family.
Nearby you’ll find our original stone dam, masterfully hand-built in 1868 and still diverting water for the hydroelectric plant in downtown Lanesboro.
Sylvan Park (11.5 acres) is located in the center of town, between the Community Center and the school. Sylvan Park and its Gazebo are central place for concerts, weddings and Lanesboro Signature Events such as Buffalo Bill Days, Art in the Park, Rhubarb Festival.
Every Saturday (9-1pm) from May to October Sylvan Park is a place for Lanesboro Farmers Market where you can purchase products directly from Lanesboro area producers.
